At Providence, we’re seeing most children achieve over 80% of their educational and treatment goals. About a quarter of the children will improve to the point where they no longer require funding for their care. This potentially saves society $200,000 per child in special education costs in their school years. Research shows, every dollar invested in a preschooler with special needs saves $7 in future costs that impact healthcare, education and social services and the justice system.
